And Gal Gadot was on hand at the Producers Guild Awards to support the crew who brought Wonder Woman to the big screen on Saturday night.

Her smash hit superhero flick was among the list of eleven up for the prestigious Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures.
The nominees were husband and wife duo Zack and Deborah Snyder, as well as Charles Roven and Richard Suckle.
There was stiff competition from what was an excellent year for film, including The Big Sick, Call Me By Your Name, Dunkirk, Get Out, I, Tonya, Lady Bird, Molly’s Game, The Post, The Shape Of Water, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Last week at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Gal payed tribute to women who ‘recognize the importance of accurately portraying women across the entertainment landscape’.

‘I want to share this award with all the women and men who stand for what’s right, standing for those who can’t stand or speak for themselves,’ she told the audience, referencing the recent spate of sexual harassment allegations that have swept Hollywood.
‘And I promise, my commitment to all of you is that I will never be silenced. And we will continue to band together to make strides uniting for equality.’
She added that when she stared acting there were few ‘female-led movies and even fewer female directors’ and then she took note of box office success that women have recently enjoyed.

‘This year three of the top-grossing films were female led and one of them was directed by my wonderful Patty Jenkins,’ she said referencing Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Beauty And The Beast and Wonder Woman. ‘There were eight other films in the top 100 that were directed by females. So although this is progress, there’s still a long way to go,’ Gal said.
‘It’s not only our job to entertain, but our duty to inspire and educate for love and respect,’ she added.
Gal was presented the award by her Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, 46, who told the audience that Gal was ‘my real Wonder Woman’.
